I tried software version 1.2.1 & 1.2.4 with firmware update but the problem remains. When I remove EU Control Software everything is back to normal again. Logic crashes at the splash-screen exactly when it shows 'Starting up EuCon Support'. Hello, I just got the MC Control arrived.īut I am having troubles starting up Logic after I installed the software for the Euphonix MC Control. Obviously you have to really learn your software and get deeper into levels but I seem to have hit a wall lately with learning Logic and I have been more in the mood to write and just lay down tracks. So I am curious to try Cubase again with the MC control to see how much I can do. I have Cubase also and I was getting the hang of it before I got Logic. I just want to add that it seems like the MC control could actually act as a sort of tutorial for Logic since it helps bring you most of the major commands and functions and allows a user to program commands to help get you deeper into the software without so much memorization. This is over 440 commands right there, all labelled. Sure saves time, if you do a lot of repetitive commands.įor Logic, it has something like 22 PAGES (at 20 buttons per page) of keycommands ready to go. You can program ANY command or even a macro (set of keycommnds) to one screen button. Plus, on the MC Control, you can have programming, yes, I said programming, of the button icons on the touch screen. You have a bunch of modes you can tell it what you want to show initially on the knobs, and one press gets you to the plugin in control mode. On the MC Mix, it's the same thing, only the knobs are across all faders. Any time you open a plugin, it's there on the knobs. They can be at the touch of one or two presses, turned into controllers for whatever you have focussed on the screen. Hi, The MC Control has 8 endless encoders, tied in to the screen. Does the McMix or Control have an EQ mode such as the Mackie Control 'EQ + Vpot 8'? This is an awesome feature I use regularly. #Euphonix Mc Mix Installer driver#Mattrixx wrote: Nice to hear things have improved with the driver updates. Once you have one set up, turn it all off again, and hook up the second controller.Īfter this rather tedious process, it will work all the time, as the software will more quickly recognize each controller on the hub. When it finds it, you need to update the firmware (if it already is updated, the software will tell you this). The first time it took a little longer.ĭownload Noah Menunggu Pagi. Welcome to the Gearslutz Pro Audio Community!Īny advice would be appreciated. I am in need of 3.2 or 3.3 for windows too, MC Control already registered. I recently bought a used Euphonix mc mix. Hello board, I am about to purchase the MC mix and probably the control. They seem like a good way to go for a project studio.
